Not Bad Security — low-budget Microsoft security site with sharp copy order

Whole site· Other· resources Some· Early startup

Screenshot of notbadsecurity.com

Why it works

Super low budget site that can be designed and spun up in like 2 days or less. They have very strong photography, but otherwise the resources required are simply good copywriting. The amount of text and the order of messaging are perfect on the front page. Public page leads with a plain outcome line ("We keep your Microsoft environment secure") then consulting, assessments, and advisory — no fluff category pitch.

What I'd steal

Strong photography + copywriting-only resource model; front-page text amount and messaging order; keep Get in Touch in the header nav when the company has zero freebies prepared and a harder hero CTA simply doesn't fit.

What I'd never do

Defaulting the hero to passive "What we do" + "Get in Touch" when something more activating would fit — though I wouldn't force a lead-magnet CTA if it doesn't match how they work.
